Patriarkatet \u00e4r enligt begreppets f\u00f6respr\u00e5kare en djupt liggande samh\u00e4llsstruktur som visar sig p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga s\u00e4tt, d\u00e4ribland att m\u00e4n har h\u00f6gre l\u00f6n, att kvinnan utf\u00f6r den st\u00f6rsta delen av hush\u00e5llsarbetet och att vissa av v\u00e4rldens spr\u00e5k (s\u00e5som engelska och franska) har samma ord f\u00f6r man och m\u00e4nniska. En ensamst\u00e5ende kvinna kommer att kunna insemineras och bli ensam f\u00f6r\u00e4lder, finns samma m\u00f6jlighet f\u00f6r en ensamst\u00e5ende man?). Klimatet i mainstreammedia talar ocks\u00e5 emot en s\u00e5dan &#8221;\u00f6verordning&#8221;. Inga andra \u00e4n vita, heterosexuella m\u00e4n \u00e4r det till\u00e5tet, om inte p\u00e5bjudet, att mobba i media. Jag talar nu om mainstreammedia (dags- och kv\u00e4llstidningar, public service, radio etc), inte kommentarsf\u00e4lt eller bloggar.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Att m\u00e5nga kvinnor prioriterar familjeliv \u00f6ver yrkesliv med vidh\u00e4ngande konsekvenser f\u00f6r inkomsten anser jag vara en konsekvens av individuella val, inte ett tvingande system. Sverige har ett av v\u00e4rldens allra mest gener\u00f6sa f\u00f6r\u00e4ldraf\u00f6rs\u00e4kringssystem och ingen tvingar n\u00e5gon att ta ut alla dagarna.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Att det manliga \u00e4r normen kan jag till viss del h\u00e5lla med om (i vissa sammanhang), men jag hoppas att det \u00e4r en \u00e4ndring p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng. I de verkst\u00e4der som jag har arbetat i var allt fr\u00e5n h\u00f6jder till maskinernas vikt anpassade till en l\u00e4ngre och starkare individ, vilket gjorde att jag ganska fort b\u00f6rjade k\u00e4nna av f\u00f6rslitningsskador. Ofta sitter jag i s\u00e4ten som \u00e4r ergonomiskt utformade men f\u00f6r en l\u00e4ngre person, vilket g\u00f6r att ergonomin blir allt annat \u00e4n bra. Jag tror dock att medvetandet om de h\u00e4r sakerna har \u00f6kat och att man i h\u00f6gre grad s\u00f6ker utforma produkter som fungerar f\u00f6r de flesta. (Kanske n\u00e5got som de genusmedvetna konstrukt\u00f6rerna av <a href=\"http:\/\/androstolen.se\/\">androstolen<\/a>\u00a0kunde pyssla med ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r sin misandriska verksamhet&#8230;?)<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Simone de Beauvoirs analys f\u00e5r jag kommentera vid annat tillf\u00e4lle.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\"><strong>Nationella Sekretariatet f\u00f6r Genusforskning har definitionen:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8221;Patriarkat (av medeltidslat. patriarcha\u00b4tus) avser familje- eller samh\u00e4llssystem d\u00e4r den politiska och ekonomiska makten, b\u00e5de inom hush\u00e5llet och i den offentliga sf\u00e4ren, innehas av \u00e4ldre m\u00e4n, och d\u00e4r f\u00f6ljaktligen varken kvinnor eller yngre m\u00e4n deltar i det formella beslutsfattandet. Med en breddad definition ses patriarkat som ett samh\u00e4llsskick d\u00e4r familjelivet och de familjer\u00e4ttsliga f\u00f6rh\u00e5llandena pr\u00e4glas av att fadern har oinskr\u00e4nkt makt, oavsett om den \u00e4r v\u00e4lvillig, auktorit\u00e4r och\/eller v\u00e5ldsut\u00f6vande. Medan det alltid r\u00f6r sig om mansdominans, kan allts\u00e5 graden och karakt\u00e4ren av f\u00f6rtryck gentemot kvinnor och yngre m\u00e4n variera.<\/p>\n<p>Patriarkat har allm\u00e4nt anv\u00e4nts som samh\u00e4llsvetenskaplig ben\u00e4mning p\u00e5 sociala system inom vilka kvinnor \u00e4r underordnade m\u00e4n, s\u00e4rskilt inom tidig kvinnoforskning. Patriarkatet som en djupt liggande samh\u00e4llsstruktur kan \u00e4n idag manifesteras p\u00e5 m\u00e5nga s\u00e4tt i arbetsliv och hem. \u00c4ven exempelvis v\u00e5ldt\u00e4kt, pornografi, kvinnlig prostitution kan ses som effekter av ett patriarkaliskt system.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Inom genusforskningen (kvinnoforskningen) b\u00f6rjar allts\u00e5 begreppet patriarkat att sp\u00e4das ut och f\u00e5 en uppsj\u00f6 av betydelser, fr\u00e4mst h\u00e4rledda ur f\u00f6reteelser som drabbar kvinnor (observera att man endast r\u00e4knar kvinnlig prostitution). Ska v\u00e5ldt\u00e4kt, pornografi och prostitution verkligen ses som tecken p\u00e5 ett samh\u00e4llssystem d\u00e4r kvinnor \u00e4r underordnade m\u00e4n? Jag v\u00e4nder mig s\u00e4rskilt mot den beskrivning av v\u00e5ldt\u00e4kter som f\u00f6rs fram i feministiska sammanhang och som menar att alla m\u00e4n tj\u00e4nar p\u00e5 att n\u00e5gra v\u00e5ldtar, eftersom detta skapar ett psykologiskt f\u00f6rtryck mot kvinnor i allm\u00e4nhet (och som m\u00e4n p\u00e5st\u00e5s dra nytta av). Det finns b\u00e5de kvinnlig och manlig prostitution och inom pornografin s\u00e4tter v\u00e4l n\u00e4rmast fantasin gr\u00e4nserna f\u00f6r det som existerar. B\u00e5de m\u00e4n och kvinnor konsumerar pornografi.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt skulle man kunna rada upp f\u00f6reteelser d\u00e4r fr\u00e4mst m\u00e4n \u00e4r drabbade och f\u00e5 dessa till symptom p\u00e5 ett matriarkat, dvs ett samh\u00e4llssystem d\u00e4r kvinnor \u00e4r \u00f6verordnade m\u00e4nnen; (den tidigare obligatoriska) v\u00e4rnplikten, heml\u00f6sheten, den st\u00f6rre utsattheten f\u00f6r v\u00e5ld, det st\u00f6rre antalet sj\u00e4lvmord, majoriteten av alla d\u00f6dsfall p\u00e5 arbetsplatsen&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Man kan ocks\u00e5 st\u00e4lla sig fr\u00e5gan om analyserandet av f\u00f6reteelser som prostitution, pornografi och v\u00e5ldt\u00e4kt vinner p\u00e5 att beskrivas som symptom p\u00e5 ett patriarkat? Blir analysen mer eller mindre korrekt och precis?
